RAINBOW BRIDGE
Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water, and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, he breaks from the group, flying over the green grass, faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart.  Today (03/11/2006) we had to do the hardest thing ever and make the selfless decision to put our Darling Molly out of her suffering and misery. Molly had suffered so long throughout a barrage of tests to find the root of her growth problems and we took the decison that she was to be put through no more and allowed to end her life with dignity.
Such a short little life but a lifetime of love. I will remember you always precious girl and you will be forever in my heart.xxxx

 5/06/2007 It is with heavy hearts today that we announce the very sad parting of one of our much loved Ragdolls Summer. Summer had an upset tummy for a week or so and we thought it was something and nothing but it all turned out to be tumours in her abdomen. After investigative surgery the decision was made that it was kinder to put her out of her suffering.

Ragapost Cream Dreamer - 25/05/2007 - 20/06/2007
 20/06/2007 Sadly one of Mally's kittens Cream Dreamer died this morning at almost 4 weeks old. He had been struggling to keep up his temperature and was very cold. This morning he was put on a heat pad and we tried syringing fluids into him to keep up his strength but sadly it didnt work and he passed away this afternoon. Our hearts go out to his new owners to be Jeremy and family as of course they had already seen lots of photo's of him since he was born and were looking forward to coming and visiting him in a few weeks time.
RIP brave little man and run free with the butterfly's on the Rainbow Bridge we will miss you.
18/03/2008 Sadly yesterday we had to make the hard decision to have Kito one of our newest members to the Maine Coon family put to sleep.
We had struggled over the past month to get him to settle properly and for him to get attached or make friends with any of our other cats. He always seemed to breathe quite quickly but this was put down to stress after speaking with his previous owners.
We took him to the vets last night as he had lost some weight and become very lethargic and seemed not himself.
He was diagnosed with a severe heart murmur and a reduced size kidney. The vet thought that these were just the start of underlying problems. Kito was very dehydrated and had lost a lot of weight. She said he wasn't in any pain but that he was really suffering.
After speaking long and hard with the vet it was decided that the kindest thing was to have him put to sleep to stop his suffering as even after having a barrage of tests the prognosis was very likely to not be in his favour. It didn't seem right to put him through all that for nothing.

RIP special boy. Sorry we didn't have long with you but we loved you enough for a lifetime.
